🔧 Warranty Policy

All repairs come with a 90-day warranty covering parts and labor.

• Warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship issues
• Does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, or physical abuse after repair
• Customer must provide original proof of repair
• Warranty is void if device is opened by a third party

💰 Assessment Fee Policy

A R150 assessment fee applies to MacBook and iMac diagnostics.

• Fee is WAIVED if customer proceeds with repair
• Fee is DUE if customer declines repair or takes device elsewhere

📦 Courier Policy

For nationwide courier repairs:

• Customer pays shipping to us
• We pay for return shipping (free)
• Use a reliable, trackable courier service
• We recommend insurance for valuable devices
• We are not responsible for loss/damage during transit to us

♻️ E-Waste Recycling Policy

Kipset accepts unwanted devices for responsible recycling:

• Free collection for unwanted laptops, MacBooks, iPads, phones
• Functional devices may be used for parts harvesting
• Non-functional devices are recycled through certified e-waste partners
• Data destruction available upon request

🔒 Privacy Policy

• Customer information is never shared with third parties
• Device data remains confidential
• WhatsApp communications are encrypted
• You can request data deletion at any time

💳 Payment Policy

• Payment is due ONLY after repair is complete and you're satisfied
• We accept bank transfer, card, SnapScan, Zapper, and EFT
• No hidden fees - quoted price is final

All devices submitted for repair are accepted on the following terms:

1. Diagnostic & Risk Acknowledgement

By handing over your device, you acknowledge that electronic repairs involve inherent risk. While all care is taken, KIPSET (Gitafy Pty Ltd) is not liable for pre-existing faults, hidden damage, or failures that may occur during diagnosis or repair due to device condition.

2. Data Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data. We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or recovery failure during or after repair.

3. Pre-Existing Conditions

Devices with prior liquid damage, third-party repairs, or physical damage may have unpredictable outcomes. We cannot guarantee full functionality in such cases.

4. No Guarantee on Hidden Faults

Additional faults may be discovered during repair. A revised quote will be provided before proceeding.

5. Parts Warranty

Warranty applies only to replaced parts and excludes accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, or tampering after repair.

6. Uncollected Devices

Devices not collected within 30 days of notification may incur storage fees or be recycled responsibly.

7. Customer Approval

No major repair work is done without customer approval of the final quote.

8. Limitation of Liability

KIPSET is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from device failure, repair delays, or service outcomes.
